Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 2026

Our Commitment

StayViz is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We believe that everyone should be able to discover, compare, and book hotels with ease, regardless of disability or the technology they use to access our Platform.

We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users. Our approach is guided by the principles of perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA.

StayViz targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. We are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA, meaning that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.

This statement was prepared based on an internal assessment of the Platform. We plan to engage an independent third-party audit to validate our conformance status and identify areas for improvement.

Measures Taken

We have taken the following measures to ensure the accessibility of the StayViz Platform:

Design and development practices

  • Semantic HTML is used throughout the Platform to provide meaningful structure for assistive technologies
  • All interactive elements are keyboard accessible, including navigation menus, search functionality, and the booking flow
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios are maintained across all text and interactive elements in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
  • Form fields include descriptive labels and error messages that are programmatically associated and accessible to screen readers
  • The Platform is designed to be responsive and functional across a wide range of screen sizes and zoom levels up to 200%

Content accessibility

  • Images include descriptive alternative text to convey meaningful information to users who cannot see them
  • Hotel listings and search results are structured with clear headings and logical reading order
  • Links are descriptive and distinguishable from surrounding text
  • Content is written in plain language to support comprehension for the widest possible audience

Organisational measures

  • Accessibility is included as part of our internal development and quality assurance processes
  • We test with common assistive technologies, including screen readers and keyboard-only navigation
  • Accessibility considerations are reviewed when new features are designed and implemented
  • Staff involved in content creation and development receive guidance on accessibility best practices

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the Platform may not yet be fully accessible. The following known limitations are being actively addressed:

  • Hotel photo galleries: Some gallery carousels may not be fully navigable using keyboard controls alone. We are working to implement full keyboard support for all interactive image components.
  • Map-based search: Interactive map features rely on third-party mapping services that may have their own accessibility limitations. We provide list-based alternatives for all map-based search results.
  • Third-party content: Some hotel descriptions and images are provided by external partners and may not meet our accessibility standards. We are working with partners to improve the quality of supplied content.
  • PDF documents: Some downloadable booking confirmations and invoices may not be fully accessible. We are transitioning these to accessible HTML-based formats.
  • Live price updates: Real-time price loading uses dynamic content that may not be immediately announced by all screen readers. We are implementing ARIA live regions to improve this experience.

We aim to address these limitations as part of our ongoing development cycle. If any of these issues significantly affect your ability to use the Platform, please contact us and we will assist you directly.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of the StayViz Platform. If you encounter any accessibility barriers, have suggestions for improvement, or need assistance accessing any content or functionality, please contact us:
