How Awards Are Determined
Our awards are based on aggregate guest review scores. Hotels that maintain consistently high ratings earn recognition across three tiers.
Verified Reviews
Only verified guest reviews count towards the score.
Minimum Threshold
Hotels need at least 10 reviews to qualify for awards.
Annual Recognition
Awards are evaluated and granted once a year.
Award Tiers
Three levels of recognition for outstanding hospitality.
Gold Award
The highest honour. Awarded to hotels that achieve a guest rating of 9.5 or above. Truly exceptional properties that set the standard for hospitality.
Silver Award
Recognises hotels with a guest rating of 9.0 to 9.4. Consistently excellent experiences that travellers love.
Bronze Award
Awarded to hotels with a guest rating of 8.0 to 8.9. Excellent quality and great value appreciated by guests.
First Awards Coming in 2027
StayViz launched in 2026, and we're collecting reviews throughout the year. The inaugural Traveller Review Awards will be announced in early 2027, recognising the best-performing hotels from our first full year.
